At the risk of sounding no better than any other internet wrestling venue, I must make mention of tonight’s supposed “2nd_Coming.” The past couple months, we have witnessed a barrage of videos presented to us with an eventual pay off in mind. The pay off will be tonight, as last week’s video told us. The countdown will end. Something will happen.
Will it be Chris Jericho, though? There’s a part of me, perhaps the cynic, that is thinking it’s all a swerve. The code DID tell us Y2J…or maybe we’re all assuming it did? There was a little theory that it was Edge, returning to get some bad ass heel heat, and THEN having Jericho interrupt, but no, he came back at Survivor Series and cost Taker the title…heel heat indeed.
Will Jericho come alone? Will Jericho interrupt someone? Will Jericho be a babyface, or a heel? MAN WHO CARES!!
The thing is… I’m SO excited. Wrestling lately has not been horrible. It has not been bad. Heck, It’s been fun and entertaining, and seems to be going into the “play offs” on a good note. And yes, Smarks, TNA is included in this as Booker T’s involvement there has given us opportunities for some nice dream matches…. Booker T vs Samoa Joe, anyone?
In any event, Raw may or may not be Jericho, but probably is. Or maybe. Raw is Exciting, to say the least.
